An Evening with Fflur Dafydd and Owen Sheers

I’m really looking forward to an event at the Dylan Thomas Centre, Swansea, this evening.  There’s a performance of prose, poetry and music by Fflur Dafydd and Owen Sheers.  The event is part of the annual Dylan Thomas Festival which spans the anniversaries of both his birth and death.

I read Fflur’s book Twenty Thousand Saints this summer and absolutely loved it.  I only wish I could read Welsh, then I could read her earlier work.  I’ve also enjoyed Owen’s two collections of poetry, The Blue Book and Skirrid Hill and I’m currently reading and enjoying into his part-imagined biography, part-travelogue book, The Dust Diaries.

The event starts at 8pm and tickets are available from The Dylan Thomas Centre by telephoning 01792 463980
